3 Common Symptoms Of Adrenal Fatigue

Adrenal Fatigue is not something that many people are aware of. It’s a stress-related condition that occurs when a person’s adrenal glands are not working as well as they should. It can be caused by long-term stress, be it at work, home or from an illness. These glands control how your body deals with stress by releasing hormones that regulate your immune system, energy and heart. This lowering in hormones can affect people in varying ways, some more obviously than others. If you feel constantly stressed and are suffering from the following symptoms, there’s a chance you may have Adrenal Fatigue.

Unsurprisingly, fatigue is one of the most common symptoms that sufferers experience. This extreme tiredness can make it difficult to maintain energy levels throughout the day. It can make a person feel weak, in both mind and body. This symptom can make it challenging to concentrate, do physical activities and even stay awake. This can be potentially life threatening as it increases the chances of accidents on the road and at work. It also jeopardises relationships as it makes it tough for a person to stay motivated and upbeat. For more information, visit

Difficulty handling stress

An inability to handle stress is another telltale symptom of Adrenal Fatigue. If your adrenal glands are not working at an optimal level, you are lacking the hormones you need to respond to stress. As well as regulating our bodies these hormones give us adrenaline, strength and focus. Without the right amount, stressful situations can seem overwhelming and difficult to handle positively. This can result in sufferers feeling irritable, anxious and more likely to argue with friends and family. This inability to manage stress also affect their skin by making it dry and sensitive. This symptom is usually associated in the later stages of the condition and can get progressively worse if left untreated. To learn more, you can visit or make an appointment with your doctor.

Heightened energy during the evening

While many sufferers experience fatigue throughout the day, others find their energy levels increase. This commonly occurs during the late afternoon and evening. Generally, we should feel our most energetic first thing in the morning and get tired gradually. But spikes in the hormone Cortisol can alter this for those with Adrenal Fatigue. They can wake up feeling completely drained, only to feel more awake as the day progresses. This can make it difficult to get sufficient sleep and relax during the evening. This is a symptom that starts in the early stages of the condition when the glands are still able to release enough of the hormones we need. To start tracking your energy cycles, take a look at

If you have experienced even one of these symptoms, always seek professional help right away. While these are the most common symptoms that Adrenal fatigue sufferers will have, they may also be linked to a number of other health concerns.

Signs That Say You Have An Addiction

No one likes to admit that they have an addiction, but acceptance is the first step on the road to recovery. Without acceptance, you can’t get better and get over your addiction. There may be people reading this that think they don’t have an addiction when they do. If you are one, there are some tell-tale signs that will make you more aware. Below are the signs that you need to look out for. If you relate to a handful of them, the chances are you are fighting an addiction.

Drug Addiction

The conventional sign that you are addicted to a substance or an action is reliance. Anyone that can’t function without something is addicted – it is as simple as that. Addiction doesn’t mean that you do something once or twice a week or in controlled stages because that doesn’t mean you are reliant. It means that you do it every day, and the action allows you to function. An alcoholic, for example, can’t function without alcohol.

How important is the action in your life? Forget about reliance for one minute as that is only one aspect of addiction. If you also can’t bear to live without a certain substance or action, you are also battling addiction. This train of thought means that you put too much emphasis on a particular thing, and that negatively affects your life. One sign that you are in trouble is when you get anxious when you envisage your life without it.

Rehab Is A Viable Option

Sorry to say, but healthy people don’t go to rehab. Whether it is rehab for sex or rehab for substance abuse, the fact remains the same – you are an addict. It is important to note that you shouldn’t be ashamed by this fact because it is a necessary step in your recovery. Without it, you may not be able to get better. Some people work better alone whereas others work better in a group. If you are the latter, make sure you give the idea some thought. There are plenty of options from rehab for women to rehab for co-eds, so make sure you also pick the right center.

Does It Disrupt Your Life?

The bad thing about addiction is the negative impact that it has on your life. The reason an addiction has a stigma is because it isn’t healthy. As a result, they disrupt your life and make your life much harder to live. For example, your desire to do something consumes all of your time and your energy. Because of this, you can’t spare any time to do basic activities like go to work or socialize with other people. For those that can relate to this, you may want to seek help.

You Can’t Stop

Addicts always have good intentions, yet those intentions are hard to follow through with due to their addiction. Most addicts will say they are going to do one thing, and then go and do the complete opposite. Are you the same

Don’t be embarrassed about your addiction. Own it and come out the other side healthier and happier.

Changing the Way People View Healthcare

Mankind currently knows more about healthcare than they have known at any other in human history. This is thanks in part to technological advances that have allowed scientists to analyze the DNA in cells as well as other microscopic components that are the building blocks of life. Scientists are able to determine how the conditions that a fetus is exposed to can affect the diseases they will have as adults. Humanity has a greater understanding of the way the human body works and biology and biochemistry. All of these things have allowed people to adjust the nutrients and substances they ingest to improve their health and increase their longevity.

Unfortunately, simply knowing something to be true and using that information are two different things. Proof of this is seen when one considers the fact that the United States leads the world in research on health. The vast majority of technological and scientific advances in medicine are created in the United States. And still the United States is one of the least healthy countries on the planet. The United States consistently ranks high on obesity levels, chronic disease, and poor diet.

This has led many people to question what went wrong. Why is there so much knowledge available and yet the effect that this knowledge is having on the general population is limited? The answer to this question is relatively complicated. To some degree it has to do with the way that physicians are rewarded for treating their patients. Physicians are rewarded for treating the symptoms that their patients have as opposed to actually curing their patients. As a result, the patients have come to expect treatment, and they have stopped looking for a cure. When patients go to the doctor, their focus is on having their symptoms placated. However, they are not concerned about learning the underlying causes of their symptoms. This paradigm cannot be allowed to continue. It is ineffective and is expensive for the medical community as a whole as well as to individuals.

Thankfully, more and more people are learning about steps that they can take on their own to address some of the root causes for the symptoms they face. One aspect of addressing the root causes of the symptoms the face include changing the foods they eat and introducing dietary supplements such as cetyl myristoleate in to their diet. As a result, more and more people are seeing long-term improvements in their health as opposed to just treating the surface symptoms.
